Nozzle culvert
Define the right nozzle culvert yourself
You need the following information: total pump capacity in litres/minute, pressure and number of tap points opened at the same time.
By dividing the total pump capacity by the total number of tap points you know how many litres are available per tap point.
Example
Your installation brings 100 litres / min at a pressure of 120 bar. The total pump capacity of your installations is 100 litres/minute with
5 persons simultaneously. This means that per tap point is 100 : 5 = 20 litres available.
Have a look at the table for 'pressure bar' for the column of 120 bars. In this column you search for 20 litres and what you will find out
is that you have to choose between 20.3 litres/min or 18.6 litres/min. Always pick the safest side, i.e. the lowest. In this case 18.6 litres.
Now take a look at the left column 'nozzle culvert' and you will find 0|75. Now your search resulted in the choice of a nozzle with a culvert
of 0|75. The last step is deciding on the spraying angle.
